Scottish Vocational Qualifications
Scottish Vocational Qualifications are practical qualifications that are achieved largely by what you do in your job. The rules or ‘standards’ of the qualification are designed by the industry that the qualification relates to, and are recognised as a national standard across the board. They are generally assessed on-site, and match your skills and knowledge against the national occupational standards within the industry. TRiY Training offer SVQs in a variety of disciplines, and these can be taken as stand alone qualifications, or can be taken as part of a Modern Apprenticeship route. Individuals can also work towards individual Units of a qualification, to suit their personal development and career objectives.
